Frequently Asked Questions
From how the wrap process works to what you can expect after installation, our FAQ section is here to give you clear, straightforward answers. Explore below and move forward with confidence knowing exactly what to expect from C4 Wraps.
C4 Wraps can wrap just about anything on wheels — from commercial trucks (½ ton, ¾ ton, dually, utility bed, Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado, Dodge Ram) and vans (Sprinter, Transit, high/mid/low roof, small vans) to SUVs, sedans, coupes, Teslas, and even supercars. We also wrap motorcycles of all kinds and RVs/motorhomes from top brands like Winnebago, Airstream, and Thor.
We don’t stop at vehicles — C4 Wraps also designs and installs wraps for boats and buildings. From bass boats to wake boats, and from storefronts to office interiors with wall murals or frosted glass, our wraps transform more than just cars.
Every wrap is custom. We don’t rely on stock artwork — instead, our design team creates original concepts based on your vision and inspiration. We recommend sharing up to five reference images so we can nail your style. Our design packages (Silver, Gold, Platinum) outline how many concepts and revisions are included, keeping the process clear and efficient.
Yes. We can completely change your car’s look with color-change wraps in finishes like matte, chrome, or iridescent films. While we specialize in commercial branding, our team also loves giving personal vehicles a fresh, head-turning style.
Absolutely. C4 Wraps specializes in fleet branding, making sure every vehicle in your lineup reflects the same professional look. Fleet wraps create rolling billboards that boost visibility, and we offer fleet discounts that reduce costs for multiple vehicles.
You can bring your own high-resolution design files, or our in-house team can create a full design from scratch. All wrap projects require a deposit before design begins, and our structured design packages clearly outline what’s included in terms of concepts and revisions.
Yes. Vinyl wraps are designed to protect your paint, not harm it. When removed properly, they leave the paint underneath in excellent condition. We also offer professional removal services at $150/hr, or $100/hr if we installed the wrap and it’s less than three years old.
Yes. While full wraps cover 100% of the surface, partial wraps (25%–75%) are a cost-effective option that can still make a bold impact. Our designers blend graphics seamlessly with your vehicle’s paint for a polished look.
Beyond cars, trucks, and boats, we also wrap:
- Storefront windows and walls
- Interior office walls, murals, and frosted glass films
- Large architectural surfaces, including multi-wall installations without design breaks
Not yet — but PPF and window tint are coming soon to C4 Wraps! As we expand into our new facility, these services will be added to protect and enhance your vehicles.
It depends on storage and care. Full and partial wraps usually last 5–7 years if the vehicle is kept indoors and properly maintained, or 3–5 years if parked outside. Specialty applications like die-cut graphics, perforated window film, chrome deletes, and marine wraps generally last 3–5 years. With proper care and premium materials, your wrap will hold up beautifully.
Yes. C4 Wraps provides a Workmanship Warranty. Installation is covered for 1 year on full and partial wraps, and 6 months on perforated window film, chrome deletes, and marine wraps. Material warranties against fading, cracking, and delaminating vary by service — 3 years for full wraps, 1 year for partials and marine wraps, and 6 months for perforated film and chrome deletes. All of our printers are backed by a 3M MCS warranty, ensuring accurate color matching.
Our warranty covers issues like fading, cracking, delaminating, or workmanship errors such as peeling or bubbling. It does not cover older vehicles (10+ years), poor or repainted finishes, boats over 5 years old, oxidized gelcoat, or pre-existing damage. We carefully inspect each project with a Quality Assurance process before you pick it up, so problems are rare.

Yes — our materials include UV protection. However, horizontal surfaces like the hood, roof, and fenders have a 1-year fade warranty due to intense direct sunlight, while side panels are covered for 3 years. Parking in shade and regular cleaning will extend the life of your wrap.
We keep it simple. It usually involves [step 1], [step 2], and [step 3]. You’ll always know what’s neYes. Peeling or bubbling caused by installation is covered under our workmanship warranty. However, we cannot wrap or warranty vehicles with failing paint — wraps are not a substitute for paint, and we require a smooth surface for a long-lasting result.xt, what to expect, and how we’re progressing.
Wraps need proper care. Avoid pressure washing, harsh chemicals, or abrasive scrubbing. Wash regularly with wrap-safe soap, hand-dry with microfiber cloths, and park in shade when possible. Dirt and sun exposure are the biggest threats to longevity.
No — wraps are actually protective. They shield factory paint from UV rays, scratches, and light road debris. When properly removed, wraps leave your original paint intact.
No. Warranties are valid only for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to a new owner.
Our goal is a five-star experience every time. Before delivery, every wrap goes through a quality check for alignment, logo placement, color accuracy, and installation integrity. If anything isn’t right, our team fixes it before handoff. At pickup, we walk you through the finished project and address any concerns on the spot.
It depends on the vehicle and type of wrap. A standard van wrap can take about two days, while a Tesla or complex vehicle like a Corvette may take longer due to detailed edges and recesses. Color changes typically take 2–4 days depending on the base paint. Partial wraps are faster, and we can complete 5–10 per week if focused solely on them. The full process — from design approval to installation — typically takes at least two weeks, with design revisions sometimes adding more time.

Please bring your vehicle clean — dirt-free and ready for install. If it arrives dirty, there’s a cleaning fee ($150–$300) and possible rescheduling. The paint must also be smooth, without cracks, oxidation, or peeling. Wraps can’t substitute for paint repair, and we won’t wrap a vehicle with compromised finishes.
Sometimes. We only remove parts that are necessary to ensure a seamless, high-quality wrap. For example, mirrors, bumpers, or trim may be removed if the design requires it. Services like chrome deletes may involve detailed trim removal or wrapping around those areas.
We recommend waiting at least a few days before the first wash to let the vinyl fully cure. After that, regular washing is essential. Hand washing with wrap-safe soap and a microfiber cloth is best. Avoid high-pressure sprays, abrasive cleaners, and automatic car washes with brushes. Dirt and dust left on the surface for too long are the biggest threats to a wrap’s life.
Yes. C4 Wraps uses Pantone-certified printing backed by the 3M MCS warranty for precise, consistent color matching. Your fleet or brand colors will look exactly the way you expect, every time.
Absolutely. You’ll receive a mockup proof — either on a scaled vehicle template or photos of your actual vehicle — before anything goes to print. You’ll be able to review, request changes, and approve the final design before we move forward.
Our design packages (Silver, Gold, Platinum) outline exactly how many concepts and revisions are included. For example, Silver includes two unique concepts and three revision rounds. Additional revisions are billed at $100/hr, or you can upgrade to a higher package. All designs must be finalized within 90 days, and we’ll keep you on track with reminders.
Yes. We offer financing through Sunbit, making it easier to wrap now and pay over time. Payment plans are a great way to manage your investment without holding up your project.
Once your design is approved, we’ll schedule your installation. We’re often booked about two weeks out, depending on workload and vehicle type. Larger or more complex wraps may require additional time for installation.
Wrap pricing depends on your vehicle, the type of wrap, and the complexity of the design. Because every project is unique, we provide custom quotes tailored to your needs. Whether it’s a full wrap, partial wrap, color change, or specialty accents, the best way to get accurate pricing is to book a consultation with our team. We’ll walk you through options, design packages, and financing so you know exactly what to expect — no surprises.
Wraps are often more affordable than high-end paint jobs and provide flexibility to update or remove designs later. A quality wrap lasts 3–7 years, depending on care and whether the vehicle is stored indoors or outdoors. Paint jobs are permanent; wraps are temporary transformations that protect the underlying paint and can be refreshed as your style or branding changes.
Yes. Wraps act as a barrier against scratches, UV rays, and minor debris. When professionally removed, the paint underneath is usually in excellent condition. However, wraps are not the same as Paint Protection Film (PPF). If your paint is peeling or oxidized, it must be corrected before wrapping.
We don’t recommend brush car washes or high-pressure washes, as they can lift vinyl edges. Touchless car washes are the safest option if you prefer automation, but hand washing will always give the best results and longest wrap life.
Regular care is essential to keep your wrap looking fresh and under warranty.
Yes. Wraps are removable without damaging the paint, making them ideal for leased vehicles. At the end of your lease, the wrap can be taken off and the vehicle returned in its original condition.
A well-maintained wrap can help preserve resale value by protecting the factory paint. While custom graphics may not appeal to every buyer, the wrap can be removed before selling. In many cases, the preserved paint underneath makes the vehicle more valuable.
No. For best results, wraps require a smooth, clean paint surface. Existing decals, failing paint, or oxidation prevent proper adhesion and will shorten the wrap’s lifespan. We’ll remove old decals before installing a new wrap.
